Purpose and Scope of Document: This Report summarizes the work perfomed by Dr. Thomas F. Greene, Boeing Aerospace Company. The work was performed in compliance with the technical direction of Dr. Richard Shorthill, University of Utah Research Institute. The objective of this study was to Analyze a set of Apollo-14 and earth based lunar data to assess the feasiblity of classifying lunar surface material with the computer-automated techniques of factor and cluster anaysis.
