I am a space enthusiast and worked as an aerospace engineer for NASA for 37 years and am selling some items in my collection.
Offered for sale here is a nice night launch photo (8 x 10 inches) of the Jason-1/TIMED launch and other items from the TIMED Mission.
Also included are a TIMED Mission decal (approximately 4 x 5 inches in size) and a TIMED lapel pin.
Jason-1 was a joint U.S./French
satellite altimeter
oceanography mission and TIMED (Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics) was a NASA Mission to explore the
critical region of Earth's atmosphere, known as the mesosphere, lower thermosphere and ionosphere.
The Jason-1/TIMED Mission was launched on December 7, 2001, on a Boeing Delta II 7920-10C launch vehicle from Vandenberg Air force Base in California.
Please check out my other auctions of space memorabilia.
