A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket begins its demonstration flight with liftoff at 3:45 p.m. EST from from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This is a significant milestone for the world's premier multi-user spaceport. In 2014, NASA signed a property agreement with SpaceX for the use and operation of the center's pad 39A, where the company has launched Falcon 9 rockets and prepared for the first Falcon Heavy. NASA also has Space Act Agreements in place with partners, such as SpaceX, to provide services needed to process and launch rockets and spacecraft.

They are individually checked and restored, if necessary by hand, to bring them back to their original condition. It is a tedious process but we think the results are well worth it. And we think you will agree. We use only the finest, heavy weight archival photo papers and inks resulting in what we believe are the finest quality prints. Our prints are NOT mass produced but are printed in limited quantities on the latest commercial digital equipment. Finally our prints are packed securely and shipped flat. Keep in mind that the originals of many of our prints are well over 100 years old and may show signs of age.

Eugene A. Cernan, Commander, Apollo 17 salutes the flag on the lunar surface during extravehicular activity (EVA) on NASA's final lunar landing mission. The Lunar Module "Challenger" is in the left background behind the flag and the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) also in background behind him. While astronauts Cernan and Schmitt descended in the Challenger to explore the Taurus-Littrow region of the Moon, astronaut Ronald E. Evans, Command Module pilot, remained with the Command/Service Module (CSM) "America" in lunar-orbit.
